Whether it is getting fit or making more money, people are always looking for shortcuts to get ahead and there are always those who look to exploit them for a profit. Unfortunately, within the Salesforce ecosystem, the same is true in the form of exam dumps. Exam dumps are an extract of the questions and answers that may appear on a given Salesforce certification exam. Though this might be tempting, this three-part series will examine the six reasons why we recommend not using exam dumps to help you get certified.

1. They Come from Untrusted Sources

We have seen the cautionary tale of the trustworthiness of people offering shortcuts since our youth. In children’s movies, characters who do not earn their way often perish while those who are humble and patient throughout their journey are rewarded with their dreams. Though you may not perish, dealing with the shady agencies that pop-up offering exam dumps will lead you to unfortunate consequences. On LinkedIn for instance, these agencies show up briefly, have zero followers, and then disappear. The Salesforce ecosystem is full of valuable resources, many of them free, to help you on your journey. Please do not fall victim to an anonymous scammer who can inflict both personal and financial damage by giving our credit card information to an unknown source.

2. They Hamper Your Progress

Every time we learn something new, we are building on the lessons we have previously learned. Salesforce is a complex ecosystem, and it is important to thoroughly understand the content so that you can solve more complicated problems in the future. Additionally, what is assessed is only a few scenarios that you may encounter in the real-world. All businesses are unique and enabling their processes with Salesforce will take not only careful thought, but an understanding of what development paths you might take to build a scalable solution. Every time you cheat by using exam dumps, you are not learning the skills, will have to learn the material eventually from scratch, and it will take you longer to implement a solution when required to do so.
